WWS – Western Cape Primary Schools Championships Close Off with Outstanding Performances and Strong Provincial Support


The World Wide Scholarships (WWS) – Western Cape Primary Schools Championships concluded with exceptional performances and growing momentum ahead of the next major event scheduled for 20–21 March. Hosted at Coetzenburg Stadium, the championships showcased the remarkable depth of young talent emerging from across the province.

⭐ Outstanding Athlete Performances

Four standout athletes delivered exceptional results:


•⁠ ⁠Nianke Fourie – U12 Long Jump: 5.51 m

•⁠ ⁠Silken Aucamp – U13 800 m: 2:14.96

•⁠ ⁠Tayrin Jacobs – U13 1500 m Walk: 07:40.99

•⁠ ⁠Luan Du Toit – U13 Long Jump: 6.16 m

World Wide Scholarships confirmed that top performers will travel to Europe during the June holidays to compete in international primary schools championships—an initiative designed to provide global exposure and world‑class competitive experience.
